Day 1. Hometown - London
Our Britain & France
Highlight vacation begins as we board our flight bound for London, the
capital city of England.
Day
2. Arrive in London
Upon arrival in London,
our sightseeing tour starts immediately with a visit to Windsor Castle
including the State Apartments and Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House, one of the
oldest continuously inhabited royal residence in the world and the weekend
home of Queen Elizabeth. Later, we check in to our luxury hotel. The rest
of the day is at leisure. (D)
Day
3. London
Our half day tour of London
shows us the Tower of London. Founded nearly a millennium ago and expanded
upon over the centuries since, the Tower of London has been a fortress,
a royal residence and state prison. We also see the flightless ravens
and the exhibition of the Crown Jewels. Then, we’ll have a sightseeing
tour of the city including the Parliament Building, Big Ben, Trafalgar
Square, and Piccadilly Circus. Photo stops in front of the Buckingham
Palace and Westminster Abbey will also be arranged. The afternoon is free
at leisure. (B, L)

4. London - Oxford - Stratford - London
After breakfast at
hotel, we drive north to the world famous university town of ancient Oxford,
where we shall have a short walking tour of the city viewing the Christ
Church Cathedral, Tom Tower, and the Magdalen Tower. From Oxford, a scenic
drive brings us to the nearby Stratford-Upon-Avon, home of William Shakespeare.
We visit the Bard’s half timbered birthplace and the home of Anne Hathaway.
Later in the afternoon we return to London for dinner. (B, D)

5. London - Eurostar Train - Paris (France)
We transfer to the Waterloo
Station to board the supremely comfortable Eurostar Train to Paris. Eurostar
is the first true international train, connects capital cities of England
(London), France (Paris) and Belgium (Brussels). Its maximum speed is
185 miles per hour on the French part of the trip. It takes only 2 hours
35 minutes from London to Paris. Upon arrival at Paris, we check in to
our luxury hotel, l ocated perfectly in the convenient business district.
The rest of the day is free at leisure. You may shop at the world famous
Lafayette Department Store or just sit at an outdoor cafe and watch the
world go by, or perhaps you would like to join an optional tour of River
Seine Cruise. (B)

6. Paris
A drive outside the city
takes us to Versailles Palace, one of the world’s grandest palace with
spectacular ornamental gardens, once the pride of France and the envy
of many monarchs in Europe. Later, we visit the Louvre Museum to see its
striking glass pyramid and some of the most famous works of art in its
incomparable collection, such as Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo. A panoramic
drive shows us in all the famous landmarks: Eiffel Tower, Place De La
Concord, Champs Elysees, Arc De Triomphe and Opera House,Avenue Des Champs

7. Paris - Fontainebleau - Paris
Journey southwards through
the countryside, crossing the woods and finally arriving in today’s destination,
the city of Fontainebleau. We visit the magnificent Chateau of Fontainebleau,
the largest of the French royal palace and once a royal retreat and hunting
residence of the French Kings. At Chateau of Fontainebleau, you will appreciate
its numberous architectural styles, sumptuous decorations and period furnitures,
which are among the richest you can find in France. And the most notable
history of the palace is that the Emperor Napoleon bade farewell to his
Old Guard and went into exile in 1814. (B, L)

8. Paris
A free day allows you
to further explore the beauty and culture of Paris at your own tempo.
For centuries Paris has attracted travelers with its dramatic architecture,
chic fashions, brilliant cuisine, outdoor cafes, and renowned arts. When
the sun goes down, try a cabaret show at Moulin Rouge. Paris, whether
